Just Bird Song

Cognitive dissonance set in briefly today, as I gazed across a verdant valley and observed the birds. Briefly.

The birds flit on.

Unaware.

All consumed

By the air

Surrounding them

Where

Wings might lead to

A full beak.

Sanctuary.

Tweet. Sirens. Tweet.

Conflict -

Over branches,

Order,

Threat,

Dominance.

Fear.

I cannot hear

Just bird song.

Slow to judge, quick to suppose: truth and alternatives I’m keen to expose. Open by default. How can I help? https://bit.ly/32Fmz2l
